Ismaeel Jadwat is a Civil Engineer by profession, with intern experience in the construction and structural engineering industries. He had completed a certificate qualification in Project Management prior to joining AIA and has experience in business management within the private sector.
Since joining AIA, Ismaeel has experience consulting in multiple industries for a diverse set of clients, both in the public and private sector, including the African Tax Administration Forum (ATAF), Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB), Department of Correctional Services (DCS), Cape Town International Conference Centre (CTICC), and Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (COGTA), as well as private sector energy clients.
He has experience across the consulting spectrum, having worked on process re-engineering, organisational design, strategy development, as well as market and competitor analysis studies. Ismaeel has further experience working on a SADC regional master plan in the energy sector and was intricately involved in developing AIA’s African Energy Scenarios. He is passionate about developing the African region and building organisational capacity through incorporating cultural change and developing leadership capabilities within institutions.
