Yasser Ditta is a Director at AIA and leads the organisational design and capacity building practices. He is highly experienced consultant with over a decade of hands-on experience in the manufacturing and professional services industries. He holds a BCom degree in Marketing and Communication Management with additional majors in Labour Law and Labour Relations.

In both the public and private sectors, he has played a key role in all of AIA’s major projects. His experience in consulting is diverse, including the fields of Organisational Design, Operational Efficiency, Capacity Building and Change Management. He brings a highly pragmatic approach to all his assignments which is critical in the South African context. Some of his clients in these fields include Sasol, the National Research Foundation (NRF), Film and Publication Board (FPB), the Council for Geosciences (CGS), National Department of Human Settlements, Joburg Market, Johannesburg City Parks and Zoo, the Road Accident Fund, National Department of Social Development and numerous other local government entities.

During his time at AIA, Yasser identified and recognised the importance of a client’s ability to deliver on its strategy, and the lack thereof being a key inhibitor to successful implementation. This, coupled with the critical importance of skills transfer, sustainability and empowerment of our clients, has driven Yasser to lead from the front on several capacity building assignments at Executive, Senior and Middle management levels with a strong focus on Action Learning and Project-Based Action Learning. Using these methodologies, Yasser has been extensively involved in the design, development and successful delivery of several interventions both as stand-alone capacity building sessions as well as for consulting clients to ensure implementation and sustainability of the solutions AIA proposes.
